The Base
The Base is fabricated out of 11 Guage Steel, from the base, porch, legs, steps and railing. Everything is welded by our top-of-the-line fabricators and made sure to meet industry standards before completion. We weld forklift attachments to the base as well as anchoring points to make the setup in the field easy for your crew.

The Blind
The blind is fabricated out of 2” x 4 ½” Thermally Broken Black Anodized Aluminum Storefront. A thermally broken frame will have a reinforced polyamide strip made from a non-metallic composite material. Manufacturers will fix the strip between the interior and exterior aluminum profile of the frame to create an insulated barrier. The material for the strip will inherently have a low thermal conductivity to minimize the transfer of heat and cold through the window frame. It can have a hugely significant impact on energy transfer compared to standard wood or aluminum frame. The Aluminum Frame sits in a High-Performance Sill Pan, which will drain the water as it hits the glass and goes into the frame. Weep holes are drilled into the outer face of the pan to allow for the rain to weep out and drain as intended.

The Aluminum
The Aluminum is infilled with 1” Low-E Insulated Glass. This 1” Unit of glass is made up of 2 pieces of ¼” Tempered Glass separated by a ½” Spacer, which is a unique design that creates another point of thermal insulation between the panes of glass. The Air Gap between the ¼” pieces of glass is then filled with Argon gas. Using argon in the air space between the two panes of glass provides further insulation, as these gases are denser than air and less likely to let heat conduct through the IGU. Combined with a low-e glass coating, these gases work to improve the window’s overall u-value, which is a measure of the heat transmission through glass. The lower the u-value, the better the insulating glass unit.

The Windows
The Windows are Commercial Grade Operable windows that are top-hung and hinge out to a 90 degree, to allow plenty of space for shooting. Each window is 30” wide and 20” tall. These windows are also glazed with 1” Insulated Glass and have a heavy-duty cam-handle on the interior portion of the window to allow for a tightly sealed and waterproof window.

The Interior
The Interior is constructed of Tongue & Groove Pine on the ceiling, which is burned and sealed to give it a nice, rustic look for a finished product. The shelves are made from 2”x8” Pine that is also burned and sealed. Commercial grade padding and carpet is installed in the floor to keep the blind quiet.
